Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now live, With the update scheduled to begin at 11 P.M PT on 7th of April and 2 A.M ET April 8th.
The idea of this midnight update is brilliant as the game could be quickly downloaded while most players are sleeping and that would deter any player from making mistakes. Everybody will play it on Wednesday morning due to the coronavirus outbreak — at least those of us in lock-down or quarantine.
The new season brings a variety of improvements and changes to the game, as well as new maps, modes and, of course, a new combat pass for season 3 that involves a new trainer, Alex from the single player campaign.
Here’s is a sneak peek into the new season in Modern Warfare multiplayer and Warzone.
Warzone’s biggest update is the new Quads mode.
Battle Royale and Plunder modes now have the team of four instead of just Trios and Solo.
There will also be new ground loot and arioys special limited-time modes throughout the season.
There are three new maps coming to the game in multiplayer.
- Aniyah Incursion is a smaller version of Aniyah Palace designed fir 6vs6 gameplay.
- Talsik Backlot is a remake of the Classic backlot map.
- Hovec Sawmill is a three-lane 6vs6 map set in a sleepy village.
You’ll be able to log in and enjoy both multiplayer and warzone for free as soon as the game updates. You only need to purchase the combat pass once to get bonuses for both modes.
Vehicle skins come to the game as well as “mil-sim” skins for operators operating around the world on carious armed forces.
You’re going to unlock U.S. Expeditionary Force in Tier 10, South Korean Special Forces in Tier 30, Pararescue in Tier 50 and the National Police Force fighting Terrorism
In the War Pass some of the latest content includes two free weapons at Tiers 15 and 31.
